Description

The bed and breakfast 'Romi's Garden' is found in an old house which served as a small Benedictine convent in the Middle Ages.

'Romi's Garden' is located in a green and peaceful valley on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, not far from Cortona. The valley is called Valdipierle, named after the 'Rocca di Pierle'. This particular castle dates back to 1200 and is therefore the oldest castle in the area.

The structure is developed in an apartment with separate entrance, furnished in a comfortable and welcoming ambient, consisted of 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, living room and a fully equipped kitchen for guests. It is surrounded by a large garden equipped with deck chairs, tables and barbecue, which is also available to customers. It 'also equipped with free wifi, even in the garden.

'Romi's Garden' is about 1 kilometer from Mercatale, in the district of Cortona. Mercatale has all the essential services available: a bar/cafe, a supermarket, banks, medical services and pharmacies.

The B&B enjoys the fruits of its strategic position close to many places rich in history and nature known throughout the world (Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena, Pienza, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Orvieto, Lake Trasimeno, etc.) that you can easily reach and visit.
